Questions you might have: What's the cost to me to partner with Broad Reach MRC to find me a new broker/dealer? There is no cost to advisors to utilize Broad Reach MRC's services. We are compensated through the affiliating broker/dealer. What type of advisors does Broad Reach partner with? We partner with any advisor looking to find a better situation in which to conduct business. We work with commission or fee-based advisors. Large or small producers. Multi-advisor offices or solo practitioners. OSJs. Recently terminated advisors. Regardless of your type of business or situation, Broad Reach MRC will partner with you to find your forever broker/dealer. What is your placement process? If we should receive the honor of partnering with you to help you navigate your practice to your next broker/dealer, which we hope is your last and forever broker/dealer, we will begin the process by discussing the state and makeup of your current practice. Then we will discuss the future direction of your practice; where you see it going; how you see it evolving. You will elaborate on why you are looking for a new home and share what is important to you in selecting your next broker/dealer (e.g., upfront money and transition assistance, level of fees charged to your clients, broker/dealer service levels, technology requirements, etc.) Then Broad Reach MRC will search the seascape and, based on our discussions and your requirements, present to you one or more broker/dealers that fit your criteria. We will discuss the pros and cons of each firm and, upon your approval, reach out and provide your contact information to the broker/dealers with whom you feel comfortable having a conversation. You will talk with those firms. Our level of involvement in those discussions is completely determined by you. Once your meetings are concluded, we will reconvene and conduct a post-mortem, after which you will take some time to reflect on your own or with your family or staff which firm is best for you. You may decide that more work is needed. You may decide that you want to conduct a home office visit. The process is controlled and dictated by you. We move at your pace. This is a decision that is extremely important and not to be rushed.
